Margaret Tanner has been writing for as long as she can remember. She started out with sad little ditties, then graduated to her true love - writing historical romance novels. She lives in Australia with her husband. She has three grown up sons and one gorgeous little granddaughter. She is a history buff from way back. Her favourite period in history is the 1st World War, and she has in fact visited the battlefields of France and Belgium, as well as Gallipoli in Turkey, a poignant experience she will never forget. No history book is too tattered for her to trawl through, no museum too dusty, or cemetery too overgrown. She has been known to badger elderly relatives for information on their early lives. Not an easy feat when some of them are stone deaf, but they are a wonderful source of information and inspiration.
