I joined the army at the age of seventeen after pretty much dropping out of college. Lets just say I didnt do very well on my mock exams! Funnily enough, though, it actually worked out alright for me in the end. Ive been in the army for 12 years, having served several tours in iraq and afghanistan. I'm now a sergeant, having just returned from training young infantry recruits in catterick for the past 2 years. During my time in the army I have still occasionally taken time to enjoy an old childhood hobby, writing science fiction. I have recently had the honour of publishing my first novel online, C.R.O.W. It is more than science fiction story, it is about the hardships endured by soldiers at war, told in a science fiction setting. I greatly enjoyed writing the book, and I hope that my readers enjoy it just as much!

This is my first ever published book, so I have no writing achievements to speak of, but I am alive after several tours of kosovo, iraq and afghanistan, as well as a fully qualified platoon sergeant. Im pretty happy with that!
