I served as a Radioman/Machine gunner on Navy riverboats in Vietnam. Much of my writing stems from my experiences during that life-changing year in-country from July 1968 to July 1969. Later, after much healing, I founded a Point Man International Ministries Outpost here in Coos Bay, Oregon. It is still active almost 25 years later. My wife and I ministered full-time with the PMIM HQ office from 1990-92 and then my wife, Connie, and I became full-time Christian Missionaries to Laos. We lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 3.5 years and Savannakhet, Laos for 1.5. After returning in 1997 I became a strong advocate for miltary Veterans/Families and have been ever since.

Most Valuable Back in high school football, two awards for valor in Vietnam, Bachelors Degree in Ministry from Cascade Bible College and plenty of pats on the back for assisting my fellow Veterans.
