I've been writing as a hobby since I was a child, and in the back of my mind, knew one day I would turn it into a career. After receiving a degree in something completely unrelated to creative writing, I stepped away for awhile to 'earn a living' for my family. However, the absence only fueled the fire, so to speak, and I began writing my first novel at age 29. It is now published and I've several more in the works. My stories are about those who are in the midst of an internal battle, and who carry that fight into a relationship, creating the recipe for the perfect conflict. My own relationships have given me the experience, and my imagination guides the stories.
