Nancy Jardine is a born and bred Scot, currently living in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. An ex primary school teacher, she began her writing career in 2011 and loves the variety of writing across different genres in her novels. Since 2011, she has published 7 novels. 3 of these are Contemporary Mystery Thrillers and 3 are Historical Romantic Adventures. Her first YA/ Teen Time Travel Historical Adventure has allowed her to have a foot in both contemporary and historical genre camps! A lover of all historical eras, she’s chosen to focus her first historical romantic adventures in a time almost forgotten – 1st century northern Roman Britain - for her Celtic Fervour Series. This is for a general/adult audience. Early 3rd Century northern Roman Britain is the era for The Taexali Game, the first of her Rubidium Time Travel series for the younger end of a YA /Teen general reading market. Reviewers of her work appreciate the attention to detail she strives to include, coupled with real life situations for ordinary people, both in her historical work and in her contemporary mysteries. She includes fantastic world-wide locations in her contemporary novels since it’s a way of sharing her own experiences of these places with her readers. Whenever possible, she likes to include something in her work that's related to her Scottish homeland. A regular blogger, she also promotes the work of other authors. She reads and reviews across the sub-genres of fiction and is happy to expand her reading horizons. Gardening, grandchild minding and writing take up most of her week. Work in progress includes: Book 4 of her Celtic Fervour Series; a family saga beginning in Victorian Scotland and Book 2 of her Rubidium Time Travel Series set in Victorian Scotland.      

TOPAZ EYES (Crooked Cat Publishing), an ancestral-based mystery/thriller was a Finalist for THE PEOPLE’S BOOK PRIZE 2014.
AFTER WHORL: BRAN REBORN, Book 2 of her Celtic Fervour Series, (Crooked cat Publishing) was accepted for THE WALTER SCOTT PRIZE FOR HISTORICAL FICTION 2014.
