Cheryl Bradshaw is a New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author writing in the genres of mystery, thriller, romantic suspense, and paranormal suspense. Stranger in Town (Sloane Monroe mystery series book 4) was a Shamus Award finalist, and I Have a Secret (Sloane Monroe mystery series #3) won best thriller of the year from eFestival of Words. As a child, Bradshaw often made up stories for her sister after they were sent to bed, most revolving around children’s fantasy. One in particular, which Bradshaw titled Loin Tah, centered on two children who, after receiving chewing gum inside their treat bags on Halloween night, discover the gum’s magical powers and are transported to a magical world. Bradshaw’s love for writing began in high school when she wrote poetry and short stories for the school’s The Looking Glass. It was around this time that she discovered a love for the mystery genre, immersing herself in the works of Agatha Christie until she’d read every book Christie had ever written. This same love carried over to crime writer Robert B. Parker, Bradshaw’s other biggest influence. With writing coming so easily, Bradshaw took up photography in high school, a skill that failed to impress her yearbook teacher. When this same teacher began teaching an advanced literature class, she made it a point to pull Bradshaw’s parents aside at parent-teacher conference to discuss the potential future she believed Bradshaw had in writing.
