Information
If I haven't lived through it, I've probably been close friends with someone who has. I can speak comfortably with all walks of life - ours and others ;-) And have walked on the plains of Karma. I am a Christian, and deeply respect the views of everyone (within reason I mean, I don't think murderers and pediophiles should walk beyond the getgo, but, hey, that's just me...)
I've loved and been loved. I've seen death and was nearly killed. I've lived in huge mansions and tiny two bedroom apartments. I've earned more money than I've ever had since spending it. I've owned land, been abandoned (the divorced parents syndrome), given birth to children and raised geniuses. I've worked as a statistical analyst for a multi-national corporation and I've sat in the backyard listening to the birds sing for an entire day.
And when, during the past fourty years that I've been capable of putting thought into word and onto paper and had the time to do so, I've written, and written and written. We still have our life altering adventures, for instance we nearly got our little selves killed when our cottage was hit full in the face with a tornado on July 29/02 - sure was a wake up call - even got interviewed as an almost 'late' top ranking writer/graphic artist - cool! I think....
I'm happily married to a wonderful man and have two wonderful children!
Accomplishments
Working as a freelance writer and photographer, my work has appeared in newsprint over 1200 times since 1997. My poetry is in several anthologies and I've won four Poet of the Year Awards (International) and was nominated for the 2005 Award. My work has appeared in WIN magazine, Time, Peoples, and Canadian Living Magazine (and others). I ran a website for kids from broken homes until I was shut down by the host during a billing dispute - they were double billing - I wouldn't double pay!
I've changed so much in the past 20 years, even I don't recognize myself! It's now 2025 ~ I've suffered three concussions, started a great company manufacturing fashionable head protection and we've been through Covid lockdowns, mini depressions and now - a scary dictator south of the border. Not good times, my friends. But stay strong!

My favourite piece of dirty work is hiding under the watchful eyes of Mr. Robert Sloan (author of Raven's Dance - an excellent piece of work!) His well wishes include a very kindly placed compliment - he said I write like my mentor...Stephen King..."You are the Queen to the King of Horror" he said....
Since I've neither heard from Mr. Sloan for many decades now, and his publication is no where to be seen - the above mentioned piece is going to be part of a horror anthology I expect to have completed in 2005. 20 years later I can tell you it was completed and sold under a non de plume.
I worked for many years as a graphic artist with six commissioned pieces for best selling author Mickey Stroda as well as selling her a lovely little psychotic piece - As of 2004, however, I've been commissioned to 'duck out of the horror world' and do a screenplay for a wonderful Canadian Actor who has done more Broadway Productions and films than I'll ever be able to see in my free time! 2025 update: I did the deed, wrote the piece, sold it to the right folks, made lots of money on it, and they never used it. Okee Dokee!
I'm now working on a new anthology and a new website. Both will appear soon under yet another (my sixth?) non de plume - this time, I'll tell you, it does indeed have the name Raven in it! those who know me, know my closeness to Raven.

This is site is my creation. I took over two websites as Web Master in February of 2004 when a close friends husband passed away. In January of 2005 I was commissioned to create a website for a local artist. By the time I was finished with the two sites, I was speaking HTMLeese... so I opened this site and it's now known internationally and doing very well. I love this stuff!
