WEIRD RHODY is a short story collection featuring five strange tales all set in Rhode Island and written by five Rhode Island authors. The anthology is a tribute to H.P. Lovecraft, the Ocean State's famed author of pulp horror.
I got my start writing "quizzes" on Quizilla.com back in 2004. My story, "Vampires Don't Exist," became the highest rated on that website and stayed in the #1 spot for a month. I had many followers and received up to 35 pieces of fan-mail per day (and some hate mail/death threats because people thought I was sick and twisted). That story became my first self-published novel. VDE then went through a re-write and is now called "Dead Seed" (R. Vance).
Today "Dead Seed" is still my number one seller and receives an equal amount of hate as it does love. Since it was my first book, it is choppy and has its problems, but some people still love it.
I have self-published a few of my "Quizilla" stories ("In Aeternum" is another one) due to popular demand.
My latest is a young adult/fantasy novel (safe for all ages), "Dancing with Dragonflies." You can search the title and my name on YouTube to see the book trailer.
As I've matured I've started straying away from the horror scene and focusing more on fantasy, however that's not to say I don't get a few gory ideas every now and then.
