Once a drama and journalism teacher, I like to combine the genres and put as much punch into every word as I can. I wrote my first book, With Great Mercy, when I was terribly ill with trigeminal neuralgia, the "suicide disease." Never heard of it? Neither had I. It is a neurological disorder that causes electrocution-type pains throughout the face. My desire is to reach an audience who experience pain and to provide hope. I have been completely healed for almost two years, no surgery... only prayer.

So long ago that they are now irrelevant.
