I consider myself a daughter of the states Georgia and Florida, Florida my father and Georgia my mother. I have lived in many different areas of both, so there is no one city that I call home.

Information
My father created my interest in poetry; together we would make up rhymes and short poems off the top of our heads. He passed away just before my 13th birthday, which is when I started writing poetry in earnest. The only way I had to deal with the grief and pain of losing him. That was a very long time ago, but poetry is still my best friend and confidant.
