He is a Military-BRAT who spent his childhood living in various parts of Canada. Over the past 50+ years, Mr. Ricketts has lived in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. He has traveled from shore to shore across Canada five times by car and hundreds of times by airplane. He has visited every part of Canada except Nunavut . He is a true student of the Canadian political system, having worked on political campaigns at all three levels of government and for three different political parties (he supports the candidate more than the party). He was a candidate, himself, for Calgary City Council in 1983. His international consultancy has taken him to every continent except Antarctica, and has allowed him to see, first hand, many different governing principals and structures.
