I’ve been writing for over thirty years. My writing can be classified as science fiction, Christian, horror, and essays. My major writing influences are Langston Hughes, Edgar Allen Poe, Steven King, Bertrand Russell, Basho, Nikki Giovanni, Lenard D. Moore, Washington Irving, and Ernest Hemmingway. My haiku have been translated in three languages (Russian, Japanese, and Romanian.) My Haiku have been published in Albatros (Romania), Bare Bones (England), Black Bear Review, Brussels Sprout, Dragonfly, Famous Reporter (Tasmania), Frogpond, Haiku Headlines, Haiku Quarterly, Hobo (Australia), Japanophile, Ko (Japan), Mainichi Daily News (Japan), Micropress New Zealand, Modern Haiku, New Cicada (Japan), Piedmont Literary Review, Psychopoetica (England), Red Pagoda, and Valley Voices. My other poems have been published in African American Review, Contemporary Education, Dragons, Knights, and Angels; Planet, Psychopoetica, San Fernando Poetry Journal, Space and Time, Starsong, and Twilight Times.
