Loreen M. Kollmorgen was born and raised in Michigan's Detroit area. Loreen and her family moved to Arizona in 1983. She retired in 2001 after 32 years as a Cosmetologist. Her husband of 43 years, Larry, is a Master Mechanic. Both her daughter Trinda and son Treaver have families of their own and she thoroughly enjoys her 3 grandsons. Her interests include her grandsons, church (AzCC: Stephen Minister/Lay Minister), helping senior citizens, volunteering for animal shelters, gardening and writing poetry, short stories and children's songs. 

Published a children's teaching story: Animal Patrol 2004. Poem published in 1986.
