Children are painlessly introduced to social behavior, morals, safety, loyalty and other desiralbe traits. The story entertains while educating in such a manner that even the most resistant and rebellious child will learn.
Not long ago in the beautiful forest of Nirvana lived
many wonderful, friendly animals. They had lived in
harmony many years, with a long line of ancestors
before them.
Many times Ollie Owl has retold the story to his
friends, as was told to him by his father, and his father
before him.
"Yes, Andy, that's true," said Ollie Owl to his friend
Andy Ant. "Your Great-grandfather and my Great-
grandfather were very small when the great fire
destroyed the first beautiful forest of Nirvana.
"I still don't understand," said Andy.
"Understand what?" hooted Ollie.
"It's hard to understand that our ancestors
survived the great fire," said Andy with a look of
wonder in his eyes.
"Well!" said Ollie, "I'll explain the story one more
time, but first gather all our friends. Maybe they have
questions too?"

“My reading of this children’s book, prompted a positive response. I felt Loreen’s approach and language were not ‘preachy,’ but left the reader with the opportunity to reflect on ‘What Really Counts in Life.’ Loreen’s intent is to use animals to communicate spiritual and environmental values for children.”
This is a wonderfully performed 7 CD Children's audio book, made up of three books from the "Run, Rasputin. Run!" series of books. Expertly narrated by Pat Fraley. Your entire family will enjoy these exceptional tales!
