This is a book to help readers plow through the enormous overload of the 95% nonsense to find the 5% common sense that is hidden away, which is needed to sustain long-term success in solving today's problems.
Stress is the name of the job for almost all first responders. Learn how to lower your stress, help other first resonders lower their stress, and how to deal with people at a scene who are stressed.
I live to write about life -- in story, personal essay, memoir, and blog -- and help others do likewise.
Background
Information
I'm a retired staff development consultant. I did a lot of writing in my professional career including dozens of published articles, a book on holding effective meetings, and stacks and piles of training handouts. After retirement I discovered lifestory writing, my real writing passion. The only thing I like better than writing my own stories is helping other people find and write their own. I teach workshops and do conference sessions on various aspects of writing lifestories, memoir and journaling, and my book, The Heart and Craft of Lifestor Writing, is a leader in the field.
