In 1991 our daughter Lisa died from carbon monoxide poisoning. She was the youngest of three girls and her death turned our world upside down. We were all in the depths of despair and I questioned over and over again the point of carrying on - with all the trials and tribulations of life. I had been bought up to believe in God and an everlasting life that awaited us after our death, but  now in my mental turmoil I began to wonder if there was really anything at the end of this life for us all. Where had Lisa really gone? She was a very talented ballet dancer and teacher and lived life to the full, giving out to others as well as taking all that life had to offer. Our Minister tried to help us find our faith but could not answer all of our questions, so Roger and I decided to explore the concept of life continuing and see what truths we could find - not realising at the time that our lives were about to change forever!! A chance meeting with a wonderful UK Medium - Steve Holbrook - made sure of that!!! In 2006 I wrote 'One Moment in Time' about our journey of discovery and how meeting one very special person helped us realise that life does continue. I hope that my book will help those who have lost a loved one to realise that there is a light at the end of the tunnel of despair - and that they are not alone (although they probably feel it at the time).
