Paul is both a retired pastor and social worker. He worked for the State of California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing from 1987 to 2000. Prior to, and during that time, he also served part time as a senior pastor, youth pastor, and music minister. He graduated from Azusa Pacific University in May 1973 with a major in Religion and a strong minor in Social Work and was ordained into Pastoral Ministry by the Southern Baptist Churches of America in March 1985. Over the years he has been listed numerous Who's Who Publications; in 2017, Marquis awarded him with their LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT Award. Most recently, for 2018, Marquis has nominated and awarded Paul with their most prestigious award, their 2018 HUMANITARIUM AWARD. This recent recognition was given for his lifetime volunteer work within the community. Pastor Paul has also received numerous awards for his professional contributions as a volunteer and paid professional with civic groups and agencies serving children, youth and families. His most notable award was being named Youth Advocate of the Year by the Riverside County Office of Education in 1994. Paul, and his wife Shelly, have been married since 1980 and they are affiliated with Moreno Christian Assembly - Moreno Valley, CA as an outreach ministry. Pastor Paul has a full time ministry on FB. The ministry currently has more than 2,500 members/followers, many of who consider Pastor Paul as their pastor! The ministry, Narrow Path Ministries, includes four ministry groups and six ministry pages; that are all geard to meet needs in different styles! He also has six on line pastors that assist him with counseling prayer and ministry to the members. Paul is a 1973 graduate of Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA. He majored in Religion, with a strong minor in Social Work. While at APU he earned Academic Scholarships, and graduated with a 3.88 GPA. He also graduated from the National Executive Institute in Dallas, TX. NEI was a mandatory training course of the Boy Scouts of America, and was equivalent to getting a Graduate Level Certificate in Business Management. While at the NEI program, Paul was elected by his peers to serve as Class President for the second half of the training course.

Besides serving as Associate and Senior Pastor at several churches over the years, Paul was ordained as a Southern Baptist Minister in 1985. He still holds his ordination with the Southern Baptist Churches of America. Recently the Lord used several prestigious institutions to honor Paul for his life time work with community groups that provided services to children, teens and their families.

For his life long achievements with youth he was included in Gibraltar's International Edition of Who's Who for the year 1997; Marquis’s Who's Who in the West: Who's Who in America; Who's Who in Business and Management; Who's Who in the World; and Who's Who in Education and Professional Management since 1998 (to the present). In 2001 Strathmore's included Paul in there annual Who's Who.

He also received community recognition from the Grand Island School District, Riverside County Office of Education (Child Advocate of the Year), Riverside County Department of Health, and the Riverside County Council of Child Care Providers for his work with their programs and service to children and youth.
