Information
I don't remember a time when I didn't write. Presumably it was before I was old enough to pick up a pen and put letters together into a word. I still have the stories I started when I was 8 years old. Not that I'm ever going to do anything with them, but I can't make myself throw them away, either.
Why do I write? Might as well ask why I breathe, because the answer is the same: I don't know why, but I can't live without doing it.
Accomplishments
I'm an alumni of U of California Santa Barbara and American University in Cairo (yes, Egypt!). I'm a member of Romance Writers of America and Mensa.
Additional Information
TRUCK STOP, my first novel, was awarded a four-star review in Feb 2002 Romantic Times. I currently have two novels under consideration at Silhouette, the first two of my "Sons of the Desert" series: "Dancer" and "Bennett's Story." The editor is looking at them for Special Edition line, and has requested revisions (Jul 2003). There are two more in that series, and I've started a series of paranormal romances with Jinn (genie) heroes and heroines, entitled "Wishes and Dreams." I'm halfway through the first genie romance, "A Gift of Jacinth."
