I write fiction and lots of poetry. I wouldn't say I have modeled my writing after anyone specifically. My poetry is mostly freestyle.

One of my achievements is having my poem "Willow" published in the national high school anthology presented to First Lady Hillary Clinton by The National Poetry Society in 1998. I consider this an accomplishment because less than two percent of my peers were also included in this anthology. One day I will scan and put the letter of acceptance on my website. I also had one of my short stories "Moonlight Shadows" published in Silver Reflections, the student publication at Silver Lake College, where I attend. "Moonlight Shadows" was published last year and is part of a group of short stories I wrote dealing with vampires in some way in each story. I was going to name this collection "The Vampire Chronicles", but that might be considered taking the idea from Anne Rice, so I'll probably have to think of something else. This year, my poem "Pouring Out My Soul" will be included in "The Best Poem and Poets of 2002" from Poetry.Com. The poems are already added to this site and my short stories will be added as soon as I can get around to it.
