Ryan William Voll was born on 24 January 1981 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He grew up on a small hobby farm just outside a small town called Palmerston, Ontario, Canada. He attended Palmerston Elementary School from Kindergarten - Grade 6, Harriston Senior Elementary School, grade 7 - 8, then Norwell District Secondary School from grade 9 - 11. At the age of 17 he moved to Berlin Germany as an exchange student for grade 12. The following year he returned to Norwell for grade 13 (OAC's). Upon graduation he attended Fanshawe College in London Ontario for a year, studying Computer Programming for the first year, followed by Business Marketing. Due to these courses not interesting him, he moved to Red Deer Alberta to study Physics at Red Deer College. Due to lack of funds, he dropped out to work as a cook. In 2004 he began to work for an auto parts company as a CNC Machinist, where he met his now fiancee. On 11 December 2007, he became a father to his daughter Mikayla. Currently he is in the process of joining the Canadian Air Force, where he will attend college to learn to become an aircraft mechanic.
