Ryan William Voll was born on 24 January 1981 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He grew up on a small hobby farm just outside a small town called Palmerston, Ontario, Canada. He attended Palmerston Elementary School from Kindergarten - Grade 6, Harriston Senior Elementary School, grade 7 - 8, then Norwell District Secondary School from grade 9 - 11. At the age of 17 he moved to Berlin Germany as an exchange student for grade 12. The following year he returned to Norwell for grade 13 (OAC's).
