I am influenced in my writing by people and animals by what they say (people) and do (people & animals). Things I experience goes into my writing. I gew up with a love of writing stories and poetry. At this time I write stories full of interesting charachetrs that children will love. I have an imagination that is rich with ideas for stories. Once the ideas for a story are inside my head I feel a need to get them out of my head and on my computer or on paper. I create the character or the character in whatever comes first at the time. I may start out with one adventure in mind and go with it or change it by having a new adventure or a lot of adventures. I feel that a lot of the creative spirit that I have is expressed in my stories. I feel that I express many voices in my writing through my many characters that I create. Once I have an idea for a story I run with it. The greatest joy I get from writing is knowing a child enjoyed the story. When I see my completed manuscript I feel a sense of accomplishment. At this time I have several different stories written and ready to go the publisher at the right time and am working on a second book of a series about "Roscoe's Adventures". The book that was just published by PublishAmerica and made available in August 2008 is titled "Roscoe's Forest Adventures". The next book about "Roscoe" will be taking him, his friends and family totally out of their element into one that quite different from anything they have ever known and there they will all have great adventures, Sometimes the next adventure is one I just thought of at that moment. "Roscoe's Forest Adventures" is based on what I saw and heard when I lived along the Muskingum River in Morgan County (Ohio) near Stockport. A squirrel would climb the trees close to the house or run the deck rail or the floor of the deck, An owl would be heard from the open land across the road or in one of the trees along the river at night and a bird made its home in one of the trees close tot he house. Sometimes I would see other animals sich as a rabbits, deer, groundhogs, etc and I included them in the story. "Roscoe's Forest Adventures" info : Roscoe is a curious squirrel who helps his friends and family. They look to him for help and he always comes through. He is thought of as a hero but he doesn't see it that way. He does what comes naturally to him. They have many adventures. They love him and he returns their love, 

At this time I have a poem entitled "Teresa" that was published about 1998about a friend who passed away. My next accomplishment is when my book "Roscoe's Forest Adventures" was recently published. I would like to have more stories published.
