Long-time educator, published author and artist, I have been involved in holistic arts/sciences for many years. Language, I believe, is key to our healing and renewal. “I am a poet and that is how I approach all that I do. I see the power of language coded in us and help you to find and be in your resonance—through the poetic and holistic process—for then we choose rightly.” Language matters—language of the mind, the body, and the spirit. I have published poems in journals, gained some renown in the Los Angeles area as a poet, and made a film for which I won the best script award at a festival in Belgium.            As a painter, I enjoy exploring the relationship between colors, often unashamedly. My art is often archetypal, representational, and impressionistic. It is a fine place of rejuvenation when words need rest. Born and raised in India, I have been a resident of Los Angeles for many years. My love for travel inspires me. Sometimes, I find myself more at home in places away from Los Angeles. Strange, but true! Perhaps, it is because we have more freedom to be when we are away from that which is familiar.
