I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1962. I have always had a strong interest in history, old things, true facts, and wanting to know where I came from. I married into a huge family, and thus began my quest to determine my children's roots. Over the years I have put together volumes of information and pictures pertaining to this huge Bishop family, and now, I am beginning to present these facts to other researchers in an organized form. I feel that without our ancestral data being accurately preserved in some form or fashion, it stands a terrible chance of being lost forever. The information on this huge family that I have begun to write about was available, but it was scattered to the ends of the earth. It is my hope that these books I am producing will end that problem. During my researching, I of course also discovered that our family ties into many many other families, some of those ties were much stronger and more prevalent than others. I have also then begun to focus on those families history as well, and present it in various places throughout the book series on the Bishop family. The volumes that are available now are only the beginning. There are more to come, and much more information to be offered. Stay tuned!
