Much of my work is influenced by a growing interest in ancient tribal beliefs and myths, especially in the direction of historical Celtic and native american beliefs. While my professional background is in mechanical technologies, my artistic interests go in more natural directions. I have a semi-Wiccan theology, partially influenced by Margot Adler's "Drawing Down the Moon", partially by Frazer's "The Golden Bough", and by a wide range of other less known works on ancient Celtic and native american religions and beliefs. My books and stories range from fantasy to science fiction,all set in real contemporary backgrounds. While I use the term "fantasy" I think it may be somewhat misleading. All too often this leads people to envision the "sword and sorcery" type fantasy...while small elements of these type of stories comes into play, I think perhaps "Mainstream with subtle touches of magic and myth" might be a better description.
