I fear that there is little hope for we Indie authors. My last two books in particular, published through amazon kindle and create space, have had almost no show of interest. I am guessing this is because there is an extreme large volume of Indie authors and a very limited readership. It is interesting that most of my books, when they get a rare rating or review (even rarer), have gotten very good to excellent marks. (Well, except for one lady on Goodreads who absolutely did not like my "Dancing With Shadows". I respect her opinion. I also respect the opinion of the local newspaper reviewer all those years ago that gave this same novel a very positive review. No two people like the same thing.)
What is sad is that there seems to be no real way for Indie authors to get a readership without first having to pay a fee to someone. And then it is usually a disappointment, as it still does not lead to better sales. Am I alone in this opinion?
