"Fan Loyalty" A tribute to the late Brook Benton chronicles a journey that was fulfilled as a result of saying "I am going to meet him," after hearing only the voice of the singer. I knew not who he was or where he was. I did not even know his name. I only knew that I was going to meet him. This piece give an example of speaking about the things that you want and going after them, even if you are unsure as to which direction you will take. You will be rewarded with guides, assistance etc. If you hold on and believe it will unfold for you. This is a remarkable example of love, family, belief and persistence that took me into the presence of a musical legend. He was one that I adored. It was a wonderful and rewarding experience. It served me well and continues to serve me as I continue to  enjoy  his wonderful music.

Carol achieved a Doctorate of Divinity from the Open Bible way College in Greenville, S.C 2016. She holds a Master's degree in Communication Arts from New York Institute of technology, in New York, N.Y. She directed a cable Television show that aired on cable "Woman of the week" The show received a Cable Award for Programming Excellence by cable television in 1994.
