My interest in poetry stems from my love of writing music. Some of my poems are actually folk-songs that I have written for the guitar, but, stand well as poetry. These I have dubbed as "folkpoems". I also love to break any and all rules of writing poetry. This allows me to be a different breed of poet, writing as I see fit. I try to be entertaining, writing with wit, humor, sarcasm and wry looks at humanity. I feel that poetry should be fun to write, as well as read!
