I am very passionate about sustainable development with major focus on poverty alleviation, nutrition, health, agriculture, rural and community development, transport and communication infrastructure, housing, the environment, education, political development and good governance of institutions If offered the opportunity, I will provide top notch and high quality services through contemporary management concepts such as Sustainable Development, Total Quality Management, Continuous Quality Improvement, Quality Control and Business Re-engineering, Monitoring and Evaluation as well as other quality service delivery strategies. I am a published author with the following book to my credit: 1- Fundamentals of Project Sustainability 2- Total Quality Management (TQM I have formed a very strong opinion in what we think constitutes effective and efficient teaching, facilitation and consultation. I place significant emphasis on a participatory approach to consultation and the development of critical thinking. I set our professional goals and enhance the learning experience for students the objective enabling them to meet, discuss, modify and participate in decision-making in any context. Educating people is a very strong part of my life and it enables me to expose them to current events, be research-oriented, learn new ideas, and broaden their horizons in the understanding of national and international issues. I believe that teaching should be an active rather than a passive activity and we work to produce a setting in which customer-generated discussions and learning can take place. I strongly feel that it incumbent upon those consulting to generate an atmosphere where student can easily transform theories and concepts in practical activities. Students should be thought to be optimistic about life, be visionary and foresighted. Being an advocate of free-spirited thinking and actions and we try to convey the message to customers in a very democratic and open atmosphere. I feel that in order disseminate information to customers in a more effective and efficient manner most of our seminars, workshops and conferences are customized to incorporate role-plays and simulations as close to real life situations as much as possible especially in business management courses. I use state-of-the-art facilities and educational techniques for instruction. Students will learn by listening, seeing and interacting in groups and other activities. They will also gain from feedback from their peers and the facilitator or trainer. Being a Project Manager and Workshop Trainer/Facilitator enables me to tackle issues in a more analytical and evaluative perspective. Having taught courses such as Customer Service, Marketing, Project Management, Total Quality Management, Project Proposal Writing, I strive to instill the same spirit in our customers so that they will feel very multi-skilled, multi-professional and competent to handle the challenges of the contemporary society. Having worked in many organizations and in various capacities such as Needs Assessor, Human Services Specialist, Project Specialist and Quality Management and Improvement Specialist, I always strive to contribute to positive changes through strategic planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and activities, the evaluation of an organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in order to plan for quality development and improvement. The S.M.A.R. T and SWOT techniques have always been my guide for the implementation. My goal has always been to identify indicators that measure benefits to staff, customers and stakeholders, develop strategic plans that impact objectives, goals and the philosophy of the organization, working collaboratively and cooperatively with individuals, teams and organizations and empowering people and involving them in decision making. My area of expertise is Project Sustainability and I have done extensive research on this and written about it because all programs are project-oriented. Whether we are dealing with the environment, climate, oceans, skies, institutions, organizations or communities, projects have to be designed to address issues. So I feel that Project Sustainability could be an integral part of the training. As a member of professional associations such as Knowledge Board, American Management Association International, Project Management Institute, and mentor with Africa Unbound and International Institute of Global Leadership, I feel well seasoned to make very meaningful contribution to the socio-economic, cultural and educational development of the society. I am presently a Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Association of the USA, National Capital Area, Washington DC., and Africa 2.0, Johannesburg, South Africa. This enables me to network with other professionals and organizations.
