Mary Ann and her husband married at the age of twenty ne with great hopes for the future.  Soon realty set in. Dysfunctions by the name of alcoholism, compulsive gambling and spousal abuse play their hands.  Mary Ann lost herself in a world of gambling to get away from Eddie's drinking. All It did was put her in deep debt and she wanted to kill herself.  Eddie drinking continued on until the proverbial icing on the thir cake was going to have Eddie become a recipient of a heart transplant. Mary Ann showed so much courage and strenght that an ordinary woman would have buckled and she came out of it with ultimate truimph. On the encouragement of her heart doctor Mary Ann wrote her first book called Hi, my name is Mary Ann and it is sold a Amazon or Barnes and Noble.    

Mary Ann Barrucco is one of the longest woman members of Gamblers Anonymous in the New York area of 24 years. She is also a menber Who's Who of American woman. January 1, 2015 Woman's radio Show with KC Armstrong Named me as Inspirational Woman of the year 2015.
