Since my early childhood I have always had a passion for reading; I love the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe series of books by C.S Lewis and also the Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling. The thrill of adventure and fantasy and anything Sci-fi has always intrigued me, and I enjoy all films within those particular genres. I started writing short stories at first, some adventure, some with a comedy aspect, but over the past two years I have been working on a longer length Sci-fi adventure book 'Keepers of the light', which has become a series of four books, the first which is titled 'Emergence'. Apart from writing, I enjoy films, exercise, dance, art and music. Any time I have 'writer's block' I turn to the piano and play themes from films or pop songs; it works wonders and afterwards I find inspiration to continue with another chapter or set of ideas. As I write, I feel like I am part of the story, and hope that when others read my books, they too will be transported into the adventure.
