Welcome. Let me tell you a little about myself. I usually write with one of three goals in mind--to relay a story, to put a new spin on a tired topic, or to give my thoughts on a particular subject. In all cases, I want the reader to not only be able to visualize the event, but also to emote--to empathize, to relate, to FEEL it. My background is in business, believe it or not. But, I've always been a communicator, and an observer of people. And, I think that's what inspires me most--the human condition and it's inherent ironies. I'm sure you're asking yourself right now--what does that mean? Well, haven't you noticed how rarely in life things turn out just the way you planned? Now, that doesn't mean that you don't get the outcome you desired. It just means that it's never quite as good (or as bad for that matter) in the long run as you thought it would be. Or, even more ironically, it brings troubles of its own! In any case, it's the subleties of life that are most often missed, and that I highlight in my writing--our weaknesses, our brilliance, our hopes and our dreams--and the realities that we choose to ignore. It's my thought that these are the common bonds that link us all, and provide the tools for the self-examination that are critical to our continued advancement. Thanks for visiting my site--enjoy!
