Writings of Premchand and Anton Chekhov are the inspiration behind my writings. The plight of people residing in the countryside compelled me to write about them and take their concerns to a wider audience. I was attracted to arts and writing from my schooldays. I was exposed to a literary environment and spent most of the time reading. It led to jotting down stories and poems - sad, I lost a whole book of poems and stories. In school, I won several awards in writing competitions. During college days, I used to create campaigns for our annual functions, charity shows which kept alive my creativity. I also worked as a copywriter for an advertising agency. To keep the flame alive, I keep writing small pieces here and there.
