As an Engineer I've been able to work in many different countries. This has provided me with a palette of experiences that I can dip into anytime I need to paint a pen portrait.
I was also an Hypnotherapist for several years and still give lectures on hypnosis to grade 12 students as part of their psychology course.
My favourite authors are English: Allan Sillitoe and Leslie Thomas. I try not to think that they have influenced me as I want to be recognised as a writer in my own right . . . but I imagine that they have.

It's been several years since I posted anyhing on AD. In that time I have written a lot of stuff including 2 science fiction best selling novels - still trying to find a publisher - and dozens of short stories most of which have seen print.
Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Parkinson's 7 years ago and with it comes apathy along with many other more well known symptoms such as tremors, loss of smell and shuffling gait.
But I still manage to produce stories for my various editors . . . it just takes a lot more effort than it used to.
