Information
Born in Jamaican, and coming to the United States at a very young age, Marlene quickly fell in love with reading. As a young girl she walked around constantly with a pencil and a composition notebook book to record her thoughts. Soon she was writing short stories and poetry. Marlene states that she wants to bring some island flava to readers through her writing.
