I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child, I loved to read Nancy Drew Mysteries. In my teen years, I fell in love with the romance genre. I consider earlier Danielle Steel novels, Judith McNaught, and Linda Lael Miller among some of my favorite romance authors. In my late 20's, I moved to the eastern shore of Maryland. That is when I began writing poetry. Two of my poems have been published in an anthology book. I quickly turned to writing fiction. About this same time, I met and married a wonderful man, Jim. We, and our very spoiled dogs, live on the picturesque eastern shore of Virginia. I enjoys reading, writing, gardening, playing board games, and spending quiet moments with my husband on the enormous deck he built adjacent to our home.
