I don't have official training for my writing. I just simply love doing it.  I draw from my vivid imagination for story ideas.  Once I get an idea for a story, I keep inventing and reinventing it in my head. I decide who the characters will be, what will happen to them. I even imagine a few conversations they'll be having. Then I go to the computer to breathe life into the characters. I love writing short stories in various genre, including Romance, Paranormal, Fantasy, Suspense, Historical, Time-travel. I try my hand at novel writing, but write far more short stories and some novella length. I also love writing poetry. Much of my poetry is in the Inspirational genre. I also write essays in this genre, including some personal experience essays concerning my husband's experiences with cancer. His major health problems have caused much stress, and my writing is an escape mechanism from that stress.  Sometimes I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my writing.
