Lena Kovadlo was born on December 24th, 1982 in Minsk Belarus... Almost ten years later (on November 16th, 1992) she emigrated to the United States and with absolutely no knowledge of English except for the word no.
As soon as Lena started learning the English language and began to master it she fell in love with writing and it became her passion. Her writing portfolio started to develop and grow featuring poetry, lyrics, prose, and other works. Writing.com made sharing her works with others possible and it is that site that also led Lena on her publishing journey.
It was always a dream of Lena's to be a published author. Thanks to writing.com and the encouraging and positive feedback she received from her readers there and on other sites, Lena sought to publish a poetry book, and at the end of 2007 she had her first published book - Pieces of Me (a book of poetry). Since then she has published nine more books, one of them being her debut novel The Secret Life of Ashley Miles.
