Gary Isringhaus was born in St. Louis, Mo on March 17th 1948. An award winning artist, his work is collected worldwide. He has a Bachelors degree in fine art from Sonoma State University and a Masters degree in writing from the University of Southern California. He resides in Asheville, NC.

Information
Growing up in St. Louis I was influenced by Mark Twain and Tennessee Williams. Living in Sonoma, CA I wasexposed to Jack London. In Los Angeles I studied with Donald Spoto, and was enthralled by the work of James Leo Herlihy and Charles Bukowski.
