I served more than 40 years in Scouting as a Venturer Leader (youth aged 14-18) and noticed they lacked good adventure books about the sorts of activities they loved.

My adventure books form a trilogy of adventure around an unlikely youth called Scott Morrow who becomes the hero the nation needs and wants when fate steps in. Finally, when the chips are down in his last adventure, Scott makes a stance and chooses the hero he wants to be. The books are Only The Brave Dare, Canyon, and A Rite Of Passage.
