I began my writing career in 1970 as a cub newspaper reporter for a small now long defunct weekly published in Cortland New York. Six months after joining the staff, I was promoted to Features Editor - a post I held until I graduated from Ithaca College in 1971.
On and off, I spent most of the next 35 years as a technical writer for such firms as IBM and Bristol-Myers Squibb. I penned my first freelance article in 2006; an essay that appeared in Good Old Boat.
