I have lived all my life in Donegal, on the rugged northwest coast of Ireland. Recently heralded as one of the most interesting places in the world to visit. The landscape is indeed breathtaking and it would be easy to say that the wildness and ruggedness of this last frontier of Europe was my inspiration to write, but that's not entirely true.
