Born and raised on red dirt farms in rural Georgia, '40's and '50's, I'm 2nd oldest of eight siblings (now six) as two have passed away. There are some negatives in having a number of siblings for sure, but I think the positives far outweigh them! Most of us love to read and I've been an avid reader from 5 years old, it was my escape from our poor lifestyle, though I've come to value that life. Mother and Daddy taught us to have self respect and value hard work.
