As a senior in high school a friend of mine gave me a copy of The Hobbit and insisted I give it a try. I was instantly hooked and became a voracious reader.

My favorite author is Dean Koontz, but I try to read many different authors. I also love the fantasy genre. Some of my favorites are Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin, Terry Goodkind, Raymond Feist, Margarite Weis and Tracy Hickman.

From time to time I will read something history related, such as a biography about Abraham Lincoln, my favorite president.
