These ever changing kids!
They are amazing and maddening
fustrating and entertaining.
They can make you laugh 
They can make you cry
Sometimes they can make you wonder
why you even try.
They are demanding and independent.
They want affection and love.
They are faithfully ever changing.
A big smile will greet you
A frown or tears will see you off.
Bear hugs are emenent and welcomed often
And a lap often squashed with a bottom.
Cute and funny words escape their mouths frequently
Making for lots of entertainment
and loads of laughter to boot.
Booboos are easily fixed with kisses and bandaids.
Nighttime monsters scared away with prayers.
With Toothfeiries, Easter Bunnies and Santa Claus too,
We are kept quite busy all the year through.
With lots of laundry and dishes to do
it never seems like we'll be through.
But no matter how busy these
ever changing kids keep us,
or how much time they need from us,
We'll continue to be amazed and dazed
and we will love them all the more.
