Poem Artwork

Sailing to the edge of insanity,

Like so many before me have gone.

I’m believed to be hanging on Earth’s rim

A tragedy when Columbus came along.

Is it others who wish me to leave my mind?

For they push like mad to see me move.

Like a flailing ship in the dark, cold sea;

Between mounting waves and fears of the deep,

I struggle to barely hold on.

Can it be my own mentality’s desire

To shudder the droning of life’s constant song?

A wish that pushes its own soul in the sea

And drains the very good of life from me.

Great artwork adds a 'seasoning' to this very well-penned prose ...
'spiced' just right for all those lucky enough to partake! Wonderful!

I see the sea. It can both punish and reward. Nicely done!
