No Matter How Bad Things Seem, God Always Has An Answer.

Poem Artwork

I Know

I can think of no feeling worse than knowing

You have outlived your usefulness.

All my life I have had direction, purpose, and objective.

Always considering myself blessed.

Now, in my twilight years

I have nothing to do but be reflective.

Every mistake I’ve made,

Now haunts my waking and sleeping hours

Each good memory I have,

The Ghost of the past devours.

Taunting me with eternal peace

And eternal rest;

I have to fight to overcome

Each of these evil tests.

I don’t know how much longer I can

“Hold the Fort,” alone.

So, I turn to God often

And beg him for release

From these demons

Whose attacks never cease.

I know that he is my salvation

Both now and evermore

I know that to my very core.

Honest and touching, He is not through with you life and influence yet, there is still much to do and experience. Much wisdom to pass on to others.

An earnest plea from the Heart...
I wish you could be gentler on yourself...we are human, and do the best we can, but we make mistakes...
A loving God forgives .. always...that is your comfort,,,
It is also possible to change your thoughts in an instant...
Best wishes,
Diana...
