This is a beautiful work with an important point. No matter what harsh things happen in life, one should not let those things destroy you. The wise learn from adversity and grow wiser. Sometimes the harsh things are a blessing because, if we are ripe to
learn, they teach us so much and make us better.

This poem flows very well and has vivid images to support the message.

Yet I will fight to survive
To strive and to persist.
To embrace my unique birthright
Defending my right to exist.".....
These words ring true for those who are physically handicapped and have only their minds that are still active. A friend of mine is completely paralyzed but he is the most cheerful person I know. A victim of MS for the last 25 years.
His will to live is his greatest asset backed by a loving and devoted wife and children. He is an inspiration to me as are they. Great write
