Tawney hues of golden amber
kissing skies at eve of day
Glisten on waters under
Sunset over Georgian Bay

Mesmerized by such vision
Of this heavenly display
Flooded with appreciation
Of the beauty of this bay

Mindful of heartfelt wonder
Angelic voices seem to say
Enjoy this gift of splendor
Sunset over Georgian Bay

A great capture, Gwen, poetically and photographically. Brit, Bying Inlet, Point au Baril, these were my introduction to Canada some 33 years ago. The experience left me with an itch that can only be scratched by a trip to some part of that great country each summer.
I enjoyed the poem very much.

i lived in collingwood
for a couple of years
in the '70's. you've
caught the mood of
