Abandoned and abused
and left alone,
a child tries to survive on his own

The clothes that he wore
was tattered and worn
for he had worn them for to long

In the night there was no place to sleep
nor does he have any food to eat
shivering and trembling from the cold
He reaches for some one to hold

wondering eyes that lead to despair,
tears dripping down his face,
then hunger setting in
he struggles to find his purpose in life

As the sun set upon the clear blue skies
A stranger approached him and said
come here my dear, you are sombody's child
